Professor Brian Squire appointed Deputy Dean of University of Bristol Business School

Professor Brian SquireWe are delighted to announce that Professor Brian Squire joined us in January as Professor and Deputy Dean – TQ Innovation and Enterprise, of the University of Bristol Business School.

In this new role, Professor Squire will represent the school during the transition to Temple Quarter (TQ), support colleagues in the areas of education, international and cross-campus collaborations, and lead on finance and planning. Professor Squire will join Professor Veronica Hope Hailey (Dean), Professor Jonathan Beaverstock (Deputy Dean), and the rest of the Senior Management Team for the school.

Professor Squire was previously Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the School of Management, University of Bath where he also served as Acting Dean, Deputy Dean and Head of Division. Professor Squire’s research is in the areas of operations and supply chains, exploring properties that create resilience, innovation and sustainability. He is co-investigator of the EPSRC Cellular Agriculture Manufacturing Hub, a £12 million project investigating the production of cultivated meat at scale.

Professor Squire said of his appointment, “I am absolutely delighted to join the University of Bristol Business School.
