The Professional Liaison Network, part of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law at the University of Bristol delivered a collaborative workshop on Sustainability Strategies in Organisations. This event, hosted by Burges Salmon looked to promote discussion on the key challenges around developing sustainability strategies in organisations.
Globalisation and the advancements in information and communication technologies have set the pace to the rapid growth of real-time data collected from various sources, such as mobile phones, social media, and sensors, and shared through cloud-powered technologies.
On 8th and 9th September, the University of Bristol Business School hosted two in-person academic events in partnership with the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA) and its South-Western Area Group (SWAG). The 9th was the SWAG Annual Conference, preceded by a Doctoral Colloquium on the 8th.
Operations and supply chain management has never been more important than today when global supply chains have been disrupted heavily by the COVID-19 pandemic. Mitigating the negative impacts and building a more sustainable, digitally-driven, and resilient supply chain is regarded as a common goal for many companies and leaders. (more…)
