With the changing regulatory landscape and introduction of mandatory sustainability reporting standards in accounting, sustainability has become ubiquitous in the careers landscape for graduates in this sector. The Professional Liaison Network, part of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law at the University of Bristol delivered a collaborative workshop on Sustainability Strategies in Organisations. This event, hosted by Burges Salmon looked to promote discussion on the key challenges around developing sustainability strategies in organisations.

On 8th and 9th September, the University of Bristol Business School hosted two in-person academic events in partnership with the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA) and its South-Western Area Group (SWAG). The 9th was the SWAG Annual Conference, preceded by a Doctoral Colloquium on the 8th.
